Crisis Resources
Suicide Crisis Hotline
If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8. Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Toronto Community Crisis Services
If you or someone you know is having a mental health crisis, call 2-1-1 to connect to a non-police led, community-based, trauma-informed response to mental health crisis calls and wellness checks.
Toronto Distress Centre
Call 416-408-4357 or 408-HELP to access a service agency dedicated to providing timely emotional support, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention to people in distress (in multiple languages).
Gerstein Centre
Call 416-929-5200 for 24/7 telephone support, in-person mobile crisis team, community support referrals, substance use crisis management, follow-up and access to short-term crisis beds. Serves: Victoria Park to Islington Ave, the Lake to Eglinton (except to Hwy 401 b/w Bathurst & Bayview)

24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Teams
St. Michael's Hospital and Toronto Police Division 51 and 52 Mobile Crisis Intervention Team
Accessible through police (9-1-1, no direct number). Response team consists of a police officer and a mental health nurse.
St. Joseph's Hospital Mobile Crisis and Scarborough Hospital Region Mobile Crisis Team

This app will guide you through creating a personalized suicide safety plan that will help support you when you are feeling sad or hopeless, or experiencing thoughts of suicide. This app also contains information on suicide prevention, crisis and support resources.
Virtual Urgent Care
The CAMH Virtual Urgent Care Clinic offers convenient, confidential, same-day virtual mental health advice wherever you are in the City of Toronto, using a computer, smartphone or tablet. After you fill out some quick registration questions, you can connect with a mental health provider at a time that works best for you.
CMHA Mental Health Resources
The CMHA offers a variety of resources for individuals experiencing loneliness, anger, grief, and more. Additionally, information is available to better understand mental health challenges including, but not exclusive to, substance use, self-injury and mental health in youth.

Hearing Voices Network
The English National Hearing Voices Network is a small national charity whose work is mostly carried out by volunteers (including the trustees). They focus on raising awareness of the diversity of voices/visions and help create more spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds to talk freely about voice-hearing, visions and similar sensory experiences.
Collaborative Learning College
The Collaborative Learning College is a recovery college that offers nonclinical-based education and training programs to people who have lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges, and who feel ready to set goals, gain skills and make social connections as part of their personal journey.
Family Connections Program: The Sashbear Foundation
Family ConnectionsTM (FC) is an evidence-based 24-hour group program for people who are in a relationship with someone who has emotion dysregulation or related problems. It is provided free of charge to participants. Family ConnectionsTM is a peer-to-peer program offered in small groups. Groups are facilitated by trained leaders who are usually family members of someone with emotion dysregulation. Groups include discussion, videos, and skill practice.
